MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Yes, it's true. Another potent spring snowstorm is set to hit the Twin Cities metro area this week.
The messy storm will likely snarl up both the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commutes, according to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service.
While the heaviest snowfall is expected northwest of the metro, the Twin Cities could still pick up 2 to 4 inches of wet, slushy snow. It'll be plenty enough to cause slick roads and reduced visibility during key travel times, officials said.

Confidence remains high that precipitation will arrive Tuesday afternoon, but exact snowfall totals will depend on how quickly rain transitions to snow across the metro.
